Some pieces move when you move - and that's the whole point. I made these for the women who want to feel the warmth of something real against their skin every single day - each disc cut by hand from copper sheet, hammered across its full surface one strike at a time, then linked together so the lower piece swings freely the way copper should.

Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper jewelry sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic — that's the quickest way to spot a fake.

The test is simple:

1. Grab any fridge magnet
2. Hold it against your cuff, ring, or necklace
3. If it sticks — even slightly — it isn't pure copper
4. If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing
